Terms of Service
Last updated August 30, 2026
Habitat ("the service") is operated by the owner of habitatagents.com ("we"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
The service
Habitat provides a personal computing environment operated by AI agents: a conversational main agent (your Envoy), worker agents that perform tasks, and a desk interface. It runs on infrastructure we provision for you or on hardware you own that you pair with your account.
Accounts
You need a verified email address. You are responsible for your credentials and for activity on your account. You must be legally able to enter this agreement.
Billing
Paid plans carry a weekly usage limit, metered per model token and per machine-minute at the rates shown in the product. A one-time payment can reset a spent limit immediately. Payments are processed by Stripe. Usage allowance is consumed by use and is not redeemable for cash except where law requires. New accounts start with a small usage allowance.
Your content and agent conduct
Files, conversations, and work products on your Habitat are yours. Agents act on your instructions; you are responsible for what you direct them to do and for reviewing work before relying on it. AI output can be wrong. Bring-your-own agent subscriptions (Codex, Claude) remain governed by their providers' terms.
Acceptable use
No unlawful activity, no abuse of the infrastructure (including attempts to evade metering or isolation), no infringing or harmful content, no interference with other accounts.
Termination
You may delete your device or account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the service. On deletion, data is removed per the Privacy Policy's retention terms.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" during this early-access period. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim warranties and limit our aggregate liability to the amounts you paid us in the three months before a claim.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the product. Continued use after changes is acceptance.
